Please briefly describe your experience and/or interest in end-of-life care along with your philosophy of practice.

Gail Buletza RN, BSN is a registered nurse and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Seton Hall University in 1977. She is a holistic nurse, Reiki Master, Healing Touch Spiritual Ministry Practitioner, and Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice. Gail incorporates Healing Touch and Reiki with the use of Therapeutic Essential Oils into her healing practice. Her intention is to introduce and integrate complementary energy-based therapies with traditional medicine thereby helping clients to achieve their fullest healing potential. Having utilized energy-based therapies with clients facing cancer and end-of-life care, she found that these therapies reduced pain, decreased anxiety and depression, improved breathing, and promoted relaxation and sleep. Gail is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association, Healing Touch International, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Gail's clinical background includes hospice care, high-risk labor and delivery, intensive care nursery, assisting at nurse-midwifery attended births, and pediatric homecare. Gail is currently pursuing her certification as a Healing Touch Practitioner and her certification in Aromatherapy.
